Here is an overview of the 2025 Listening Tour that was held on August 25th through August 29th to hear from the community about their primary concerns. The Listening Tour data will be used to craft the House Republican Caucus bill package for the 2026 legislative session. We hosted events in five locations: Mililani, Moanalua, Waianae, Ewa Beach, and Hawaii Kai.

At all five locations, the public identified cost of living and crime, public safety, homelessness as their primary concerns. Another primary issue for participants was government reform, which was discussed in every location except for Waianae, which opted instead to discuss emergency preparedness.
